Dustin T. Shannon-Brady has taught counseling, health and developmental psychology at the University of Alberta for twenty-nine years, as well as maintaining a private practice in Edmonton for the same period of time. His research interests include family of origin trauma, men's health, stress resiliency and spirituality. His private practice focuses on healing, health, personal development, family issues and performance enhancement. He is author of Images of Wholeness: Explorations in Awakening Healing, Creativity and Spirituality (book, journal and audiotapes) and has produced over twenty audiovisual educational tapes on Strategies of Wellness and Images of Empowerment. Dustin T. Shannon-Brady has presented at National, International, and Regional conferences on various topics including Therapeutic Guided Imagery, Stress Resiliency, and Recovery from traumatic life experiences and stress related illnesses. He is a father of two sons and two daughters. His hobbies include raising and showing Arabian horses and a variety of individual sports. He has spent many years exploring Eastern and Western ideas of meditation, spirituality and mind-body healing practices.
